In a world increasingly emphasizing the significance of green technology, the European DIGITAL SME Alliance is championing initiatives that embody the essence of eco-friendly innovation. Green technology, an umbrella term encapsulating sustainable and environmentally conscious practices, is at the forefront of a digital revolution aimed at reshaping our approach to technology.
The DIGITAL SME Awards, hosted by the European DIGITAL SME Alliance, invite small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to showcase their prowess in the realm of green technology. The awards spotlight solutions and initiatives that contribute positively to a sustainable future, focusing on three key areas: digital skills, digital society, and the green category.
Call for Green-Oriented SMEs: Deadline Approaching
The green category of the awards specifically acknowledges digital SMEs that are making substantial strides in fostering environmental sustainability. From Smart Energy Management Systems to Smart Mobility Solutions and Precision Farming Solutions, these innovative technologies are instrumental in supporting the twin transition towards a more digital and green future.
Green technology, by its very nature, addresses crucial aspects such as energy efficiency, health and safety considerations, recycling, and the utilization of renewable resources. It takes into account both the immediate and long-term impacts of technological solutions on the environment.
The deadline for applications to the DIGITAL SME Awards is set for October 29, 2023. The GreenCo Consortium urges environmentally conscious SMEs to seize this opportunity. All submitted digital solutions will be showcased in an exclusive digital catalogue, providing unprecedented visibility for innovative endeavours. The chosen entities will have the honor of participating in the DIGITAL SME summit on November 13, 2023, in Brussels, where the awards ceremony will take place.
Rewards Beyond Recognition
The accolades extend beyond mere recognition. Awarded companies will receive a one-year membership to the European Digital Innovators Club, granting access to exclusive funding and networking opportunities. This unique platform is designed to empower and connect digital SMEs, positioning them at the heart of the EU agenda.
